On July 8, 2026, despite the summer heat reaching 38℃, officials from the Ningbo Culture and Tourism Bureau visited Ningbo SUC Lighting Culture Museum for an on-site inspection and guidance.
Mr. Jiang Jianguo, Chairman of the museum, warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced the museum’s collection preservation, cultural development, and innovative practices combining traditional lighting culture with modern technology.
During the visit, Chairman Jiang presented the museum’s exhibition planning, daily operation management, summer study programs, and cultural product development. The two sides also discussed current challenges and future development plans.
The officials provided valuable suggestions on improving exhibition displays, enhancing visitor services, optimizing tourist routes, and making better use of museum spaces.
After the inspection, a discussion meeting was held. The Ningbo Culture and Tourism Bureau highly recognized SUC Lighting Culture Museum’s long-term efforts in researching lighting history and promoting cultural education. With more than 10,000 precious lighting-related collections, the museum provides an excellent platform for young students and visitors to explore traditional Chinese lighting culture.
